christ

objectively, christ is glorious and precious in himself - v4

subjectively, christ is precious exclusivr to belivers - mat 16:18; 2 cor 4:7

--
is christ precious to us?

faith is not blind. it is seeing.

- we rejoice in Him. - 1 pet 1:8-9
if u see him, u can rejoice.

--
we give Him the chief place in our affection and love - matt 16:18

where is ur heart? is in ur treasure. money, job, God, ministry?

--
we naturally desire his presence, long to enjoy intimate communion with Him- ps 27:4

--
we are ready to deny ourselves and the world for Him. - matt 16:24; Gal 6:4

--
we joyfully make sacrifices for him - phil 2:7-9; matt 13:44-45

--
we are mostly satisfied in Him - ps 73:25-26

worship is venting..
worship is the fruit of sanctification and satisfied soul.

if u worship, u say the good things about Him.

not about The songs.

- our deliverence frkm anxieties, envy and love of the world - 1 john 2:15

if we love the world , we haven't find christ.

our foundation of contentment - phil 4:13
overcoming power in suffering - heb 10:32-34

God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him.

--
how to find christ as precious?

2 cor 3:16 - but whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

jer 29:13 u ll seek me and when u seek me with all ur heart.

rom10:17 faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of God.

Rom 12 :
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 9:33 NKJV)

Rom 8 : 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
